Your memento mori ring is crafted to last a lifetime, and whilst fine jewellery is durable, it is also delicate and should be treated with care and respect
Where possible, avoid wear and tear on the ring by taking it off when you do any rough work, such as DIY, manual labour, gardening and working out at the gym
We recommend you take your ring off before washing up, bathing, swiming or watersports. Silver can become discoloured if submerged in chlorinated water, and gilding can degrade if water is allowed to seep into the ring setting
When you are not wearing your piece, we recommend that you keep it in a dark and dry place, ideally a jewellery box or the box that your piece came in
Cleaning your ring
To give your ring a little clean, simply polish it gently with a microfibre cloth. If you’d like to give it a further clean, use a very soft toothbrush and soapy water
