In “Through the Looking-Glass”, Alice finds that her imaginative musings about the Looking-glass House do more than fill a dull afternoon; they open up a portal to another world. Using multiple plaster frames, distorted and obscured glass surfaces and images that seem to shift and change as you walk past, these glass art works take you on a journey, but never quite resolve what the destination, or even the starting point, of that journey is.
This series of sculptures were first shown at ‘The Batch’ Exhibition in Holy Trinity Church, Amblecote, as part of the International Festival of Glass 2006
